We are Brent and Christy Buchan, owners and lovers of food and fire. We have a passion for grilling and outdoor living, and personally invite you to browse the site or come into the store and see for yourself why this is “The Place For All Things Bar-B-Q”.
In 2018, space became available adjacent to our Fireplace Store, Energy Products and Design. We jumped at the chance to expand our grill selection, and in turn offer Rochester a one-stop shop for their barbecue needs. So, the BBQ Store was born and offered just that. The concept included a great selection of grills, sauces, rubs, fuels, and accessories; however, this was only the beginning of the vision we imagined for the BBQ Store. In early 2021, more space became available, and we decided to really kick it up a notch – creating a full-blown barbecue experience now known as Destination Bar-B-Q.
We have always been proud to be in a business where our products give people an opportunity to gather and make memories. We believe it is essential to the human experience to connect, share, and create memories and the best place to do this is gathered around the glow of a friendly fire.
