Bacon Wrapped Brat Boat
2 packs of Miesfelds Grand Champion Brats
1 pack of Mozzarella Cheese Sticks
1 lb (12 slices) thin-sliced Bacon
1 pack of hot dog buns
Kosmo's Q Dirty Bird HOT Rub, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Slice the sausages lengthwise, creating a pocket for cheese.
Generously sprinkle with Kosmo's Q Dirty Bird HOT Rub. Then stuff each sausage with a Mozzarella cheese stick, ensuring it fits snugly.
Wrap each sausage with two slices of bacon and secure with toothpicks. Season with more rub.
Preheat your smoker for indirect cooking at 350°F (175°C).
Place the sausages on the smoker and cook for about 45 minutes to an hour until the bacon is crispy and golden brown.
Once done, serve the bacon-wrapped brat boats hot on lightly toasted hot dog buns with your favorite condiments.
