Crispy Smoked Chicken Wings

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 lbs Chicken Wings

  • 2 Tbsp Baking Powder
       Aluminum Free*

  • 4 Tbsp - Gold Star Chicken Rub

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat pellet grill to 425º F.

  2. Pat wings dry with paper towels – It is REALLY important to dry them well.  Once dry, put in large bowl.

  3. Mix baking powder and Gold Star Chicken Rub together.  Evenly coat wings and let sit for 30 minutes before cooking.

  4. Put wings on grill turning every 20 minutes until brown and crispy and wings reach internal temperature of 165oF.  (Cook time depends on wing size and can take up to 1 hour)

  5. Remove from Grill and let stand for 5 minutes.

  6. Coat with Rub Some Chicken Buffalo Sauce or Tequila Lime BBQ & Wing Sauce.
