BBQ Bacon Donuts

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Hamburger

  • 2 Diced Jalapenos

  • 1-1/4 Sharp Cheddar Cheese

  • 1 Tbsp Notorious P.I.G. Rub

  • 3 Large White Onions

  • Thin Bacon Slices (as needed)

  • Puck’s Habanero Heat BBQ Sauce

Dipping Sauce

  • 1 Cup Mayonnaise

  • 1 Tbsp PS Seasoning Pineapple Sriracha

  • 2 tsp White Wine Vinegar

  • 1 Tbsp Garlic Paste

  • 1 Tbsp Hot Honey

Instructions

  1. Mix hamburger, diced jalapeños, and shredded sharp cheddar, and *Notorious P.I.G. Rub until evenly combined.

  2. Slice onions into 1/2" rings and pair large rings with smaller ones. Press the meat mixture around the inside edge of the larger rings, about 1/4" thick, then place the smaller ring inside to form the stuffed onion ring.

  3. Wrap each ring completely with bacon, slightly overlapping the slices to hold everything together.

  4. Cook until internal temperature of the meat reaches 160o.  Brush each onion ring generously with *Puck’s Habanero Heat BBQ Sauce and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes or until sauce sets.

  5. For the dipping sauce, mix mayonnaise, sriracha, white wine vinegar, garlic paste, and honey until smooth.
